The President leads the Elected Officer team. Working closely with the Part-Time Officers & student leaders, they ensure the student voice is heard at the highest level. You must have already had official student leadership experience here at Herts

Black Students' Officer

Acting as the lead student representative for Black students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who self-defines as Black, including, but not limited to, African or Caribbean populations and people of African or Caribbean descent. This can also include students with a Black/mixed ethnic background

Campus-Based Students' Officer

Acting as the lead student representative for students living in the halls of residence at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for campus-based students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who will be living on campus during the 2023-24 academic year

Acting as the lead student representative for commuting students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for commuting students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who will be living off campus during the 2023-24 academic year

Disabled Students' Officer

Acting as the lead student representative for disabled students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for disabled students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who has self-declared a disability to UH, in line with definitions provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency

Acting as the lead student representative for International students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for International students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student whose fee status is either international or EU

Acting as the lead student representative for LGBTQ+ students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for LGBTQ+ students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who self-defines as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and/or any other marginalised gender or sexual identities

Mature Students' Officer

Acting as the lead student representative for mature students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for mature students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who is registered as a full- or part-time student at UH and began an undergraduate course after the age of 21, or a postgraduate course after the age of 25, in line with definitions provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency

Acting as the lead student representative for practice placement students at the Uni of Herts. Organising 3 events or projects each year for practice placement students. You must be a continuing University of Hertfordshire student who is undertaking a practice placement; specifically students studying education, health and social work or psychology
