Absolutely! Feel free to join as many societies as you like.

For the society you’re auto enrolled in, you don’t have to pay a penny; it’s free! Other academic societies might have a small membership fee, but many are just around £1. Just check each society page for the specific details.
What if I don't want to be automatically enrolled?
No worries! You can opt-out of emails if you prefer not to be part of the assigned society by unsubscribing to them, usually at the bottom of each email you receive.
Do members have any responsibilities?
Not at all! As a member, you can simply enjoy the events and activities without other obligations. Responsibilities only come into play if you decide to join the committee. Interested in taking on a bigger role? Read about how you can become a committee member below.
