You’ll learn how to:
- Set up a GitHub profile that shows off your work, and turn it into a strong CV asset.
- Make your first open-source contribution and open a pull request, even if you’ve never used Git before.
- Use AI tools to speed up coding, writing and documentation, and learn where they help and where they don’t.
Whether you’re just starting your journey in technology or already have some experience, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn practical skills, connect with fellow students, and explore future career opportunities.
You don’t need any experience, and it’s open to everyone with a Computer Science Society membership. Bring a laptop and a GitHub account (we’ll help you set one up if you don’t have one).
