Student Reps

Student Reps are here to support you and represent your academic interests!

Every year, students volunteer to become Student Reps to help make your academic experience the best it can be. They listen to feedback from classmates about anything related to your course – what’s working well and what could be better. Then, they share this feedback with staff in the Students’ Union and the University, helping to make positive changes happen. They also support School & Student Community Organisers (SCOs) in making students’ experience at Herts the best that it can be!

Student Rep Recognition

The Student Rep Accreditation Scheme rewards Student Reps for their hard work!

The Student Rep Accreditation Scheme provides a guide for the kind of activities & opportunities you should be engaging with during your time as a Rep. It also gives us a nice opportunity to reward you for excelling in your role! In order to officially become a Rep, you must complete training. Once this has been met, you're encouraged to work towards the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, where corresponding prizes will also be awarded.
