As part of our Public Health Series, we are delighted to welcome Vicky Robinson to talk to us about Understanding Research as a Student Midwife.
Monday 9th November 2026, 19:00 – 20:00
Free for members or £2.50 for non-members
Research is an important part of midwifery, but it can feel overwhelming as a student. Vicky will help break it down, exploring the basics of research, why it matters and how research helps shape evidence-based midwifery care. Vicky is a Clinical Research Developer, NIHR Predoctoral Fellow, Research Midwife and South London RDN Research Champion Midwife. Whether you love research or are still trying to get your head around it, this session is a chance to build your understanding and confidence.
Please purchase a ticket through Herts SU. The Teams link will be included in your ticket receipt. The webinar will be recorded and sent to everyone who has purchased a ticket after the session. Come along, learn, ask questions and make research feel a little less daunting!
