Fire Up Your Research: Mastering the Scientific Method with Great Philosophers

Want to power up your research and master the scientific method like a pro?

Join us for an inspiring guest lecture, where our speaker will take you on a thrilling journey through the ages with Aristotle, Descartes, Whewell, Hempel, Popper, Kuhn, Lakatos, and Feyerabend. You'll learn the most exciting and innovative ideas that these philosophers offered on the scientific method, and how they can help you become a more successful researcher.

After the lecture, recharge your brain cells with a delicious lunch and network with fellow researchers.

Don't miss out on this golden opportunity to take your research to the next level!

His current project is to develop a historically sensitive and properly philosophical approach to the study of mathematical practice. In recent years, he has developed a philosophical interest in pedagogy in higher education. He taught at the Universities of Liverpool and Oxford before joining Hertfordshire in 1997.
