What is the de Havilland Welcome Fair?
The de Havilland Welcome Fair is a full packed day of everything your Students' Union has to offer, from societies, to events, to student representation, alongside some of the fabulous University departments that are here to support you throughout your studies! There will be DJ's, freebies and some great activities to get involved with, marking the start of the new academic year, whether you are a new or returning student, welcoming you to campus and to the wonderful student community here at Herts!
What are societies & how can I join?
Socieites are mini communities made up of students who share similar interests and hobbies. They are a great way to make new friends and keep busy, with events, regualar meet-ups, and socials being hosted by the societies committee members. You will have the opportunity to see the societies we have on offer, meet the committees and the SU societies team, and sign up to be a member yourself across the course of the day.
I'm not studying on de Hav, can I still join?
Of course! The de Havilland Welcome Fair will run from 12:30-16:00, with a free University shuttle bus running between each campus on a regular basis, allowing time for anybody who fancies popping along to get involved in the fun!
