Herts' LGBT+ Society is a friendly, open, sociable group for all Herts' LGBT+ community and allies.

We run a monthly support group every 1st Wednesday evening each month alongside bigger evening / night events such as film nights, gaming nights and our famous drag nights.

We are also here to provide you a voice in the university, working closely alongside the Students' Union, LGBT+ Staff Network and the Equality Office to help improve life on campus for LGBT+ students and staff.

We launched the first University of Hertfordshire Pride back in February 2020 and have lead the calendar of events and activities for LGBT+ History Month and Pride .

Support Group Information

Queer Support Group: Ran monthly every first Wednesday, between 5 and 7 in The Key. We aim to provide a safe, private and confidential place for all LGBT+ students to give and recieve advice, support and assistance. For further information, contact lgbtas@gmail.com.

Trans and Non-Binary Support Group, ran weekly on Tuesdays, between 5 and 7 in The Key, This group is run by the societiy's dedicated Trans & Non Binary Support Group coordinator to provide a safe, private and confidential place for trans+ students to give and recieve advice, support and assistance.
