Engineering Society

Empowering Engineers that are Building Tomorrow!

The Engineering Society is one of the most active academic societies.

We are delighted to invite you to our next event, NIGHTGENIX, on 1st December 2022. It's a movie night event where we are collaborating with the Computer Science Society and Optometry Society. The event will take place in the Forum Theatre from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, two movies will be played during the event, and you will have the opportunity to get theatre experience.

You can bring your friends- members and non-society members. Tickets for the events will be live soon.

It is for students with an interest in engineering.

  • Aerospace
  • Mechanical
  • Automotive
  • Electrical
  • Computer Science and Engineering

We aim to provide a link between engineering students in different years along with subject-specific help with placements, serving as an intermediate body between careers service and students.

The society also plans to run events and trips to course-related sites. Some of the best include a trip to Shuttleworth and the Museum. A number of fun engineering challenges and competitions are to be conducted throughout the year as well.

Information about upcoming events will appear in the 'events' tab.

If you are interested in joining and have not done so yet then simply log-in and click the link above.
