Green Herts aims to bring students together to explore sustainability, nature and the environment through practical activities, projects, volunteering and community action.
We want to create opportunities for students to learn about and contribute to protecting biodiversity, improving local environments and living more sustainably. This could include conservation and wildlife activities, growing and allotments, outdoor activities, litter picks, nature journalling, sustainability projects and opportunities to network with local organisations.
The society is open to anyone interested in making a positive difference, whether their interests are in wildlife and conservation, sustainable living, environmental issues, outdoor activities or simply spending more time connected with nature.
By bringing students together and giving them a say in what Green Herts does, we want to build a welcoming community where people can share ideas, develop practical skills and take meaningful action for the environment.
