Herts Carnival - Celebrating Black History Month

1pm - 7pm

The Hutton Lawn - Butler Walk, College Lane

A Celebration of carnival culture. Students, black-owned businesses, musicians, lecturers & staff come together to celebrate the carnival spirit with a parade, live music, dancers, DJ's and food!

Parade starts at 1pm on Hutton Lawn and will take a route around the College Lane Campus

We encourage you to get your best dress on, carnival style. Or... bring your national flag! 

Line up of the activities and food vendors menus on the day is yet to be confirmed. 

Will I need to buy a ticket? 
No this will be an open event for UH Students and Staff. No need to purchase a ticket.

We encourage all students to consider getting the available Covid-19 vaccines as soon as possible as this may be a requirement by the government by September 2021.
