THIS EVENT IS BEING HOSTED BY THE PAKISTAN SOCIETY! 

The University of Hertfordshire is set to come alive with vibrant celebrations as students honor Pakistan's Independence Day with immense enthusiasm and solidarity.

This event promises to be a poignant display of patriotism and cultural pride, uniting the Pakistani community in a heartfelt tribute to their homeland. The festivities will commence with a symbolic flag raising and cake-cutting ceremony, signifying the sweet taste of freedom and the enduring spirit of independence.Refreshment and Authentic cuisine will be served afterwards.Attendees will be treated to an array of activities that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan, including skit performances,melodious musical performances that echo traditional rhythms, and lively games that infuse the event with playful energy.

The evening will also feature sessions of Sher o Shayri, where students will recite poignant poetry that reflects the depth and beauty of Pakistani literature.This celebration not only offers a joyous reflection on Pakistan's journey but also strengthens the bonds within the university's diverse student body, fostering a sense of unity and pride among all participants
