This training is the mandatory session all Student Reps must complete to officially take on the role. The session will cover everything you need to know to get started — including how to represent your peers, work with staff, and make a real impact on the student experience at Herts.
You must book your place by purchasing one of the free tickets (look to the right of your screen to find the ticket option).
📌 Important Information

If you are not yet registered as a Student Rep, please speak to your Programme Leader before booking onto this session.

We will send an email to all students who have booked a ticket with the online meeting link closer to the session date. Please do not share this link with anyone else, as only registered attendees will be admitted.

Please join on time – the session will start promptly. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will not be permitted to join and will need to book another session.

You only need to attend one of the sessions – please only book onto one.

Join from a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted.

Keep your camera on where possible – this helps create a more engaging session.

Mute your microphone when not speaking to reduce background noise.

Use the chat or raise hand feature if you’d like to ask a question or contribute.

Be respectful and professional when interacting with others in the session.
We will send the link to the online training the morning of the session you have booked.
