We've listened to all the feedback you've given us through things like Herts Unfiltered, School Student Forums, student leader forums and the National Student Survey. We know you'd like more space to hang out and socialise on campus, so we've been working with the uni to address the elephant in the room - the EleHouse! Many of you told us you were disappointed it had closed, especially when a fun and vibrant campus is what so many students have been calling out for. We're excited to let you know that following lots of work behind the scenes, the uni are backing us to manage your on-campus pub. They've handed over the keys and we'll be re-opening the EleHouse on Monday 2nd March! Hooray 🐘

We'll be open every weekday during term time, giving you a central spot on campus to get together with friends, relax between lectures or grab a drink. You can look forward to weekly events like pub quizzes, karaoke and games tournaments. You'll also now have somewhere to watch live sports fixtures like the Champions League, Six Nations, cricket and more. Our full EleHouse events programme will be listed on our website in the usual spot (here) so you'll easily be able to find out what's happening in the venue and when.

Over the summer months, while campus is quieter, we'll close the doors so we can complete the in-depth refurbishment it so needs!.We're currently working with an amazing group of Architecture students who are helping us to uncover its potential, ensuring the venue is truly student-focused. A big thank you to these students, as well as a number of sports students that have taken their own initiative to give us feedback on the Ele ahead of its opening. We want it to be a space that works for you, so your input is invaluable!
