Welcome to the Cyber Security & Computer Networks Society! 

The Cyber Security & Computer Networks Society creates a welcoming community for students on related programmes or those with an interest in the subject at the University of Hertfordshire. Our society offers opportunities to network, learn, and support each other throughout our studies.

How to join?

If you study a related course, good news – you have automatically been granted a free society membership to this society and you don’t need to do anything else! 

Courses currently auto-enrolled are:

• MSc Computer Networks and Systems Security
• MSc Cyber Security
• MSc Communications and Information Engineering
• BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions (Cyber Security Analyst) Degree Apprenticeship

Those who have been granted this free membership will receive an email by the end of September/Early October. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at societies@hertssu.com

If you are not studying a related course, but would still like to join the society, all you need to do is click the purchase membership button on this page from Monday 1st September 2025.
