Dear Fellow Students,
I am Parsha Sri Kella, a dedicated Computer Science (AI) student and film actor. I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the role of International Students' Officer. As an international student myself, I am passionate about advocating for our diverse community and committed to enhancing the experiences of all international students here.
My Vision and Commitment:
- Cultural Events: I have hosted and participated in various cultural events at our university, welcoming both new and current international students. My goal is to ensure that every student leaves with a sense of belonging and connection.
- Peer Support Programs: Many new and current international students would at some point need support from our university. To help these students avoid confusion and get support, I would establish peer support programs to help them navigate their life at Herts.
- Open Door Policy: considering my position, my door will always be open to discuss any issues or ideas you have, ensuring a responsive and proactive approach to your needs.
- Networking Opportunities: I will organize events that promote networking and interaction among international students, helping you build friendships and professional connections.
This is just the beginning. There will be many more things to do once you have elected me as your new International Students' Officer. I am here to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all international students at our university. I am committed to making a meaningful difference here and make sure every student has an amazing expericne at Herts.
