As an international student who is far from their home, your heart is full of excitement and anxiety. Excitement, to experience a new life. Anxiety, about how you will adjust to this new life in a new place in a new country. As an international student myself, I understand your pain. Thus, I’ve taken on the responsibility to stand up for you and ensure that you never face any problems while you’re staying in the University. As an International Student Officer, it will be my responsibility to ensure –
1. The elimination of your anxiety and the elevation of your excitement of living in a new place
2. Taking your grievances seriously and timely solutions to them
3. Help you introduce and make friends with your fellow students
4. Bridge the gap between international and local students via fun events so that you don’t feel homesick at all!
5. Be available for you 24/7 by message and call to solve any problem you might be facing regarding your stay at the University like homesickness, difficulty with English language, possible altercation with someone, and more!
6. Be your effective student leader and make your voice heard loud and clear to the concerned authority in the committee meetings on any matter concerning you
7. Ensuring that you feel and remain safe at all times while you’re on the campus
8. Guide you on your problems related to your academic or personal life with quick and effective solutions with guaranteed results
9. You feel inclusive and happy with your fellow university students
10. Your university days are the best days of your life thanks to a positive experience regarding your stay in the university!
