What is Mental Health Awareness Week and what resources are available?
Mental Health Awareness Week is from 15th - 21st May & this years theme is 'Anxiety'. You can find out more here.
Here are some great resources below:
- Mind - A charity that changes minds, standing up to injustices on mental health problems, as well as supporting and connecting minds, offering services, advice and support.
- Anxiety UK - A charity that focuses to promote the relief and rehabilitation of persons living with agoraphobia and associated anxiety disorders, raising awareness and providing support to those who need it.
- Samaritans - A charity that is a listening ear for those in times of need, with no judgement or pressure. Samaritans are also a help line that you can call for free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Are there any more Mental Health Awareness events?
Yes! On the 17th May, join us for Golden Hour Yoga up at The Oval. Additionally, on the 19th May, we will be encouraging Positive Affirmations.
