Visit the Essex seaside town of Southend-on-Sea, filled with beaches, amusement arcades and fish and chip shops galore.
In collab with Thai Society, enjoy a trip to a traditional seaside town in Essex, where you can spend the day basking in the sun at award-winning beaches, having fun at the attractions and amusement arcades, and visiting the longest pier in the world. Southend-on-Sea has lots to keep you busy and is a great way to mark the start of summer.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are just £25, covering a direct return journey from College Lane Campus to Southend-on-Sea and back. This is a great deal, as a single train ticket from Hatfield to Southend-on-Sea requires 3 transfers. If you are a member of the Thai Society, you are entitled to a £15 ticket.
Where and when will the coach pick up?
Coach pick-up will be located outside the Students' Union Office on College Lane. All ticket holders will be emailed closer to the time regarding additional details they need to be aware of.
