This event is being hosted by the LMS School Community Organisers!
To celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week (17 - 23rd March), your ASU team and SCOs are hosting an event focussing on the many strengths that arise from our different and unique sensory experiences.
There will be three zones for students and staff to explore and engage with:
Sense Zones: Explore sensory & fidget toys and arts & craft materials, available for both students and staff to try out. We’re also excited to have Poppy, the campus therapy dog (from 1-2) joining us to say hi and liven up the atmosphere
Connect Zones: Share what makes you unique! Write or talk about the things that bring you joy and spread that happiness with others. We’re setting up a Happiness Booth, to celebrate international day of happiness on the 21st March.
Reflection Zones: A peaceful, cosy space designed for quiet reflection and relaxation. Take a moment to unwind and recharge. We’ve got some activities that you can do to unwind and give yourself a break!
When? 19th March, from 12:30 to 14:30 GMT.
Where? STUDENT ZONE (1H279), CP SNOW BUILDING, COLLEGE LANE CAMPUS
*please note due to capacity, this event is for students and staff from Clinical, Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences (CPBS) and Psychology, Sport and Geography (PSG) departments
