Our Community Events Team are responsible for the running of the day-time events provision on campus. The team further support with the running of all student-led events and overseeing of Societies. The Community Engagement Assistant will report to the Assistant Events Manager.
The Community Engagement Assistant will be responsible for planning and delivery of a number of student-led events as well as the day-to-day maintenance of the Welcome Desk and the services it provides while providing the highest standard. They will also support the Community Events Team in the delivery of fantastic extra-curricular and community building opportunities across the academic year.

Training and Development Intern
Do you have a passion for personal development, learning or HR? Gain hands-on L&D, HR and Project planning experience this summer.
We are looking for a creative thinker with strong research and organisational skills. Confident communicator and team player. If that is you, join the Herts SU People and Development team as our Training and Development Intern and help shape the future of student staff development. As our Intern, you’ll work closely with the People & Development Manager and HR Assistant to design a year-long training calendar for our amazing student staff team launching in September 2025.
