10:43am on 16 Nov 23 I've spent the last 3 years relying on the hitchin to Hatfield service 635. The service has always been rather terrible. This year as if university isn't stressful enough I've had to endure countless cancellations which in only 5 Weeks has had me spend nearly 100 pounds on uber journeys just to make my way to campus. Many evenings I am stranded as services are cancelled at the last minute. I have had to rely on friends and family to get me to campus and back several times weekly. This consistent failure coupled with extremely rude drivers who shut doors in people faces and get verbally abusive with foreign students who simply want to ask a question about where the bus is going is now intolerable. Please help with these issues, I have spoke to many other bus users who tell me the same story: Terrible unreliable service. No live information. Rude and obnoxious drivers.

7:45am on 16 Nov 23 I have a lot of feedback from peers about the bus service including the 3 hour waits for 614 as well as some student mistreatment by drivers. Am I able to attend this meeting or only student reps? Thanks

10:32pm on 15 Nov 23 Thank you for giving us this opportunity to express ourselves here, and I hope this issue is fixed on time. I am a Mental Health nursing student, and with the programme comes practice, so we have to be on placement in the mental health unit, and the largest is at Radlett, but students rely on Uber/Bolt ride to get to placement and pay heavily due to a lack of buses that go to that area, even though there is one that goes to Watford and goes through Shenley, which is a 25-minute walk to the facility, and students are left t on hat lonely path to walk during winter and are disappointed by the bus when it does not turn up. Please officers, advocate for us to have a bus that runs from DE Havilland through the College Lane campus to Kingfisher Court Radlett,WD7 9HQ (we have about 7 different wards in this facility) this will benefit international/commuting students who do not have a car and are just settling into the country. Thank you as we hope to see a change as soon as possible.

9:53pm on 15 Nov 23 they should aim to support the 653 service as well, or create another bus route that stops at the St Albans City train station and the town centre. It's not just commuting from/to home that some of us are worried about, but commuting from/to work as well. Having a consistently unreliable, delayed or cancelled service is not ideal, especially when people have obligations and places to get to. Another big issue is the expected times and the bus tracking. How do the buses even disappear and why do half of them not even shown on the map? Very troublesome when trying to get somewhere and you have to constantly worry whether your bus won't magically vanish from existence for no apparent reason.

7:51pm on 15 Nov 23 Thank you for your feedback, as it stands now, there is an additional 614 bus to Queensbury and an additional bus 612 has been added to support bus 610 towards Luton. I will communicate this appropriately and work on this ASAP. Thanks once again.

7:11pm on 15 Nov 23 Thank goodness someone will get our frustration at the 'non' service of 610 and 614 buses at the end of the student day. I have stood for over 90 minutes every single day I attend, from 4pm onwards. Buses are shown as coming on the indicator but within 5 minutes of expected arrival at the stop outside The Forum, the service disappears from the monitor or, on occasion, the bus arrives FULL and will not take any passengers. The only buses that do come regularly are the buses to Watford and the shuttle buses. It is dreadful and will get worse when the weather worsens. I am 78 years old, which is very hard for me after a day of study. I'm waiting for cataract operations on each of my eyes so I'm not able to drive and have to rely on this awful service. Please ask the representative from UNO if they would like to stand for so long each day. Thank you for trying to do something!!
