What is UniRun?
UniRun is part of the HertSquad Active programme. UniRun is a weekly 3.5k event on a Wednesday afternoon at Ellenbrook Fields (behind Club De Hav). Participants can walk, jog or run the 3.5K – it’s all about encouraging Students, Staff and anyone in the local community to get active and look after their physical and mental wellbeing!
UniRun will happen every Wednesday from the 12th Oct to 7th Dec 22 and will start at 12:45pm. On the 5th Oct we are having a special colour run event to start the term!
It’s so simple to get involved, you don’t have to commit to every week…..
In order to make this an event a success we are looking to create a pool of volunteers to marshall the event. No prior experience is needed, just a smiley face and enthusiasm! There are a variety of roles such as cheering and directing people on as they go around the route, timekeepers and a tail walker!
If you would be interested in being a volunteer at this event then please complete this survey by clicking here.
We are hoping to create a large pool of volunteers, which will give people the flexibility to be able to not volunteer every week!
