Student Leaders are able to borrow a range of equipments for events.
Herts SU has a range of quality equipment that can be borrowed by Committee Members, SCOs and Student Reps, pending they adhere to the terms and conditions.
Equipment Collection
- Equipment must be collected by a Student Leader from the Students’ Union on College Lane or de Havilland. The campus for collection should be agreed upon with the member of the Academic Engagement or Community Events teams you’re working with for your event. When collecting the equipment, you should liaise with a Welcome Desk Assistant, who will prompt you to sign out the equipment and leave the cash deposit.
- Make sure to outline the equipment you wish to borrow in the Events Request Form. The required cash deposit will be agreed via email prior to collection and will depend on the type and amount of equipment you’re borrowing.
Equipment Return
You will be required to return the equipment you have borrowed, undamaged, the next working day (unless otherwise agreed in writing ahead of collection with a member of staff at the SU). Please bring the equipment back to the Welcome Desk you picked up it up from. If your equipment is damaged upon return or you do not bring it back the next working day, you may not receive your deposit back.
