Guests

I've been invited to the Students' Union Awards. Do I have to buy a ticket?

Tickets to the Students' Union Awards are completely free. To secure your place, please register your attendance by grabbing your free ticket here

Please note that Herts SU & Uni of Herts staff members should register their attendance by responding to the email invite

Unfortunately we have limited capacity in the venue, so the awards ceremony is strictly invite only. Only finalists and VIPs will be invited to the event

Please note that individual finalists can bring one guest

I'm a finalist for this year's Students' Union Awards. Can I bring a friend?

If you're a student that has been individually shortlisted for an award, you're allowed to bring one guest with you to the Students' Union Awards. When you register your free ticket, you'll be prompted to make a note of your guest's name and any dietary requirements

You don't have to bring a guest with you if you do not wish to

To RSVP, you will have to select the Finalist - Student ticket. When you go through to your basket, you will be able to add in your guest's details

My society is a finalist in this year's Students' Union Awards. How many of us can come?

Societies can bring a total of 4 members to the Students' Union Awards. We recommend societies allocate these tickets to their core committee members (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer & Inclusion Officer) but it is your choice

To RSVP, each society member will have to select their own Finalist - Society ticket. You will each need to do this separately

Our society was hoping to invite more than 4 members to the event. Will this be possible?

We're asking all finalists and VIPs to confirm their attendance by the end of the day on Thursday 4th April. If not all seats are filled after this date, we will open up tickets on a free-for-all basis whereby all students, societies and staff members will have the opportunity to secure a remaining ticket

If we are able to do this, all finalists will be notified and remaining tickets will be available from Friday 28th March - Monday 31st March

My department is a finalist in this year's Students' Union Awards. How many of us can come?

We're asking departments to bring up to 4 members of the team, but there may be scope to bring more if you wish, in which case, please drop up a message and we'll see what we can do!

If spare tickets become available, will these have to be purchased?

Nope! Tickets to the Students' Union Awards are free for all guests
