The Elected Officers are here to ensure the student voice is heard at all levels. They are all current or former students who were elected into their roles in our annual Elections. Your Elected Officers are Trustees of the Students’ Union and work either full-time or part-time alongside our team of staff. With the goal of improving the student experience here at Herts, they implement new ideas and campaign for change according to student feedback.

Full-Time Officer
Jubair (He/Him)
President
The President leads the Elected Officer team, sitting on several Uni of Herts committees to ensure the student voice is heard at the highest level.
Jubair is studying BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering in the School of Physics, Engineering & Computer Science. He has just completed his studies and is now fulfiling the full-time role of President.

Business Students' Officer
This role has been designed to ensure the Business School has representation in our Elected Officer team. While their main focus is the academic experience at Herts, they are also able to work on any other student issues that arise through the year.

Creative Arts Students' Officer
