Finding out more about the student experience at Herts
Herts Unfiltered took place between September '24 - March '25, with the goal to gather feedback on students' expectations, experiences and concerns throughout the term. These insights help inform our efforts as a Union in supporting our diverse student body and working with the University to address key issues in real time.
Data was collected through conversations with students across both campuses and via an online survey. We received a total of 6,897 responses from over 4,500 students. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to provide their feedback!
Phase 1 - Start of Term Review
Herts Unfiltered launched in Semester A as a student listening project focused on first-year UG experiences through peer-led conversations. Insights were shared in real time to address concerns and shape future inductions, with most funding supporting student wages.
