The University of Hertfordshire Christian Union
We are a non-denominational Christian society that exist to give every student on campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus.
Weekly meetings
We run weekly meetings called 'equip' where we aim to equip members with tools and confidence to go out and tell their friends and fellow students about the Gospel. We have guest speakers (often from local churches), worship, prayer, other activities during these sessions. We meet from 7pm on Thursdays in the Key for a 7:30pm start, everyone is welcome to come along.
Impact Groups
Other weekly activities include our impact groups where we dive deeper into the Bible and grow in fellowship with one another. We really believe community is something that is essential to everyone so these are held throughout the week over a mealtime around eachothers houses. Shoot us a message if you want to get involved in an impact group
Prayer Meeting
We also have prayer meetings every week where we pray for the CU events, other fellow CUs, Local Churches and world issues. Check out our social media or ask to join our whatsapp groups if you want details on where we meet/zoom links etc. @hertscu
Regular outreach events
We put on both one-off and yearly events to give all students the opportunity to engage with the Gospel. We have our Carol service coming up in December and a week of back to back events in the new year, as well as some one off events hosted throughout the whole year, and everything is open to everyone to attend, whether you're a member or not so please do keep an eye on what we're doing and come along!
