The work you do as Student Reps is critical in helping us to understand the issues that students are facing at ground level, and enables the Students' Union to shape effective campaigns, directly address problem areas, and drive positive change where it's needed.
Please familiarise yourself with this page for the purpose of getting all the key information that you'll need for your role(s) this year, and thank you for everything you do to improve the academic experience of our students at Herts.

Send us your Feedback
As a Student Rep, you should be keeping us and the students you represent updated on the feedback you're receiving, and the changes that are being made as a result. In order to help you do this, we've created the form below as a quick and simple method, so please aim to complete it once per Semester (at least)*.
*Completion of this form is also necessary for passing the Compulsory Level of the Student Rep Accreditation Scheme (found at the bottom of this page).
Nominate a Rep of the Month
We recognise how hard working and dedicated our Student Reps are, so to show our appreciation and celebrate this success, we have the Rep of the Month Award, where you'll have the chance to win some great prizes every month (in term time).
All students and staff can submit a nomination. To nominate an outstanding Student Rep, please complete the form found here.
Complete the Student Rep Accreditation Scheme
The Student Rep Accreditation Scheme provides a guide for the kind of activities and opportunities that you should be engaging with during your time as a Student Rep, whilst also providing us with the opportunity to reward you for doing so.
The scheme consists of various criteria that need to be met in order to achieve a given level, so please check it out below:
